A more considered perspective drawing. Its only single point, but i feel its a marked improvement over the last one. The Hospital beds do seem a little thin, so i think i messed that bit up, aside from that i'm happy with the drawing and think that the lighting worked well.
I will definitely continue to practice more complex perspective over the coming weeks.

Idea for Arts Practice
For my Computer Arts Practice i was hoping to do 3D sculpting as a large part of my coursework and i plan to make a 3D sculpt of a character i have been working on over the past few weeks.
The body design is subject to change, this is a far more aggressive body, multiple hands for attacking, and has a tail, giving it a cleaner less decrepit look and more of a serpentine appearance.
This body has no tail and thinner legs, making it look far less powerful, but seems scarier.
These are a few detailed sketches of a different body type, using hands as feet stood out to me as being an interesting choice, and the variety of textures over the body, skin, bone and cloth, will make for an interesting and diverse sculpt.
The Grunt
In the first Lab for Technical Art Applications we were given a pre made rig and let loose.
It an interesting experience because it showed how fragile they were, but also how easy to manipulate. By the end of the lesson i had learned how to reset a rig to its "A" pose, how to do basic animation in maya, to bake these animations onto the rig, and then export the rig into Unity as a game ready animation.
Rigging is something i'm very excited to learn more about, ideally i would like to use my character model from last years 3D Production Design module, though i don't know whether it would be feasible or more trouble than its worth with the added joints.
Perspective Drawing
The perspective sketch we were asked to do for our first lab didn't go as well as i had hoped. I struggled drawing in perspective and it took me a long time to put down any definitive line work because i had to go back and change it so much. It had been a long time since i have drawn in perspective it is certainly not up to scratch at the moment. I need to spend more time drawing in perspective and working on my quality of line.
Although i don't think the perspective i ended up with was wrong as such, it took a long time to get a drawing i am not happy with.
